Pamela G. Alexander

Pamela Alexander is Director of Community Development and Fund Operations for Ford Motor Company Fund.

Ms. Alexander is a member of Ford’s Corporate Affairs staff where she is responsible for Ford Fund's community development and outreach initiatives with key communities and organizations at the local and national level.  Pamela also oversees the business operations of Ford Motor Company Fund, one of the largest corporate foundations in the country. In 2005, Ford Motor Company Fund dedicated almost $80 million to educational and environmental initiatives, cultural sponsorships and performing arts events.

Prior to her appointment in the Ford Fund, Pamela held a variety of positions in the Ford Motor Company Governmental Affairs office.  Her experience has included policy development on strategic issues such as the environment and privacy.  She has worked on legislative and community issues at the state level and acted as manager of the Company's PAC and grassroots activities.  Pamela also served as Ford's local governmental affairs manager for the Southeast Michigan region.

Ms. Alexander joined Ford in 1990.  She began her career in the Controller’s Office where she held a variety of positions in the Marketing and Sales, Product Development, Manufacturing and Corporate Finance functions.

A native "Michigander," Ms. Alexander holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and economics from Georgetown University.  She received her master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.  

Ms. Alexander has dedicated her time to serve on various non-profit and advisory boards.
