Dearborn MI, --  "This was a powerful conference, highlighting public-private partnership and fostering great opportunities for empowering, financing and creating environments for new jobs and economic development," said AACC Executive Fay Beydoun.

U.S. State Department Assistant Secretary Jose Fernandez, in his opening remarks, recognized the American Arab Chamber of Commerce Chamber role in the private-public partnership with the U.S. State Department and Tech Town to attract and incubate international companies. The aim is to assist countries respond to economic issues by accelerating private-public sector partnerships to tackle employment and business development, he said.

The Maghreb is a growing region with rich economic opportunities for both Maghreb and American entrepreneurs, Fay Beydoun said.

The American Arab Chamber of Commerce has been an important link between Maghreb diaspora entrepreneurs in the United States and their land of origin. American Maghreb entrepreneurs are familiar with rules and regulations and the demand in these countries, which is an asset to potential U.S. investors, Fay Beydoun said.

The conference provided valuable networking opportunities, access to entrepreneurship programs and partnerships that were created among the various organizations from the United States and the Maghreb region, Fay Beydoun said.
