The American Arab Chamber of Commerce Legal Advisory Committee brings together attorneys, judges, business leaders, and legal professionals committed to supporting the needs of the Arab American business community. The committee serves as a trusted resource for education, issue-spotting, policy awareness, and connections between the legal and business sectors.
Through programming, workshops, referrals, and strategic guidance, the committee helps AACC members better understand the legal issues that impact business growth, compliance, contracts, employment, real estate, intellectual property, succession planning, and more.

Veneshia Cezil is a legal leader with over 17 years of public service experience. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, she holds degrees from Oakwood University and WMU Cooley Law School, licensed in Michigan and Illinois. Her career spans every level of government, prosecuting violent crimes at the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, leading at the Michigan Attorney General's Office, and serving as an AUSA in the Eastern District of Michigan, where she became the district's first e-Litigation attorney. Today, she leads Cezil Law Office, representing clients in criminal matters, family law, regulatory compliance, and complex civil litigation.
